Cudgegong Gallery

Welcome to Cudgegong Gallery, a contemporary exhibition space situated in the original 1890's built town hall of the historical town of Gulgong, 290 km west of Sydney.

Gulgong is renowned for its kaolin clay, used by many notable ceramicists and potters throughout Australia and overseas, the creation of a local gallery space dedicated to the exhibition of ceramic art was fitting.

Cudgegong Gallery was established in 2004 to celebrate the ceramic art form in particular and to showcase pottery, paintings and other works from regional and international artists.

The gallery has been designed to enhance exhibiting artists' works and to draw out each piece's unique character with specialised lighting, flexible display furniture and simple décor.
